Gala & Associates, Inc., was founded by former President Chuni Gala. Gala served as president for 37 years. He, along with Gala’s current leadership team, including current President Hussein Elhage, built a standout reputation for the company as a preferred provider of architectural and engineering consulting services in the automotive and industrial markets.  Gala and Associates is known throughout the industry for innovative, sound engineering practices, and their personal attention to detail.

Chuni Gala currently serves as a Sr. Advisor to Gala and Associates, Inc. and is a member of the Gala & Associates, Inc. Board of Directors.

Hussein Elhage has served as President of Gala & Associates, Inc. since January 2023.  He has been with Gala & Associates Inc. since its inception.  Previously, he served as an Associate and Vice-President for over 35 years.

Experienced in oversees marketing, estimating, client communication, structural engineering, and project management. Hussein is an expert in cost estimating, civil engineering facilities engineering, technical specifications, project management and project scheduling for clients.  He has led projects throughout the US, Mexico, and Canada as well numerous international projects in Brazil, India, and Europe.

Mr. Elhage earned a bachelor’s and a master’s Degree in civil engineering, from Wayne State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer.

Jose David Pérez Dorantes oversees Gala & Associates de Mexico headquartered in Mexico City, Mexico. Perez is a seasoned consulting engineer with expertise in structural design. He is highly regarded for his successful leadership of the Department of Structural Design for the Secretary of Agriculture and Hydraulic Resources in Mexico.
